In this example, the pulley running surfaces for wear and impact points are checked, fan wheels tested for impact marks and concentricity, checked bearings and replaced if necessary.

With the runner a test is performed and looked whether overtightening of slip ring is present and if necessary replaced at minimal undershoot. Also a functional test of the electronic field controller is performed, including the carbon brushes replacement part at minimum underflow short to ground.
